Monet School of Ballet

Leah Simpson has an incredible story that is not finished. It started in Atlanta Georgia at the age of three. Leah attended Pine Forest Elementary School of the Arts from the 3rd Grade until 5th. Continued on to Lavilla School of the Arts in Jacksonville Florida and she Graduated from the Governor’s School for the Arts in Norfolk VA. Leah studied under the instruction of Mark Spivak, and at Baggs Studio of Ballet with Debbie Rankin in Jacksonville Florida, Ana Maria Martinez at Virginia Beach Ballet Academy, Ricardo Melendez Virginia Ballet Theatre in Norfolk Virginia. Leah’s Mentor is Misty Copeland, Soloist of American Ballet Theatre in New York City. Leah has studied all forms of dance from Contemporary Ballet, Jazz, Character, Modern, but she realized at the age of 13 that she solely wanted to pursue Classical Ballet.
